I took a few minutes to look up the last frost date estimates for Atlanta and found out that our magical date is April 10th. I was a little concerned that it might be earlier, and I'm going to be a little busy in March having a baby and what not. So, April will be just perfect for planting. I'm really excited about being on maternity leave during the planting season. That should give me ample time to plan my garden, order my seeds, plant everything, and get a good solid start to the growing season. I'm sure that once I go back to work, my two little girls will keep me too busy to go up to the garden every day. Hailey does love the garden (but mostly when there's tomatoes for her to eat off the vine).
